Italy Classic Private Grand Tour | 15 Nights/16 Days
Day 01: Rome Arrival |Welcome to Italy! On your arrival at Rome Airport, after you clear Immigration, you will pick up your luggage from the appropriate carousel and then proceed to Customs. Just outside the Exit of the protected area meet your English-Speaking Assistant. Porterage arrangements have been made for 2 pieces of luggage per passenger. You will be transferred to your hotel in Rome. Rest of the day at leisure. For international arrivals, we suggest an early dinner and a good night sleep. Overnight in Rome.
Day 02: Ancient Rome + Fountains & Squares Private Guided Tour |Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your driver and guide at the Hotel Lobby. This morning you will enjoy a Private Guided Tour of the Wonders of the Ancient Romans. You will be transported back to the days of the Caesars and the Roman Legions as you visit, together with your private local guide. This tour begins with a visit to the most famous monument of Ancient Rome, the Colosseum, and its Underground. From here, your guide will take you through the Roman Forum, which was the center of politics as well as public life in Ancient Rome. Lunch included in a characteristic local restaurant. Your Rome afternoon private tour starts with a visit to the Spanish Steps, the illustrious sight has a monumental staircase leading to Trinita dei Monti. From here the tour continues towards the famous Trevi Fountain. The water is supplied by the Roman aqueduct of the Acqua Vergine. You will then continue to Piazza Navona. The history of this baroque square dates to ancient Roman times, built by Emperor Domitian in 85 A.D. to hold athletic games. Late afternoon, return to your Hotel. Overnight in Rome.
Day 03: Vatican Private Guided Tour | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your driver at the hotel lobby. Private transfer to the Vatican to meet your Private Guide for a 4 Hours VIP Private Guided Tour. You will tour the Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museum viewing and discussing one of the most famous works of art in the world. You will also have time to visit the Belvedere courtyard, the impressive Pio Clementino museum with its beautiful Greek and Roman statues. Our guides will also show you the stunning candelabra gallery and the tapestries gallery as well as the astonishing Raphael Rooms, the Borgia’s apartment and examples of Bernini and Bramante’s work. The final part of the tour will focus on Saint Peter’s square; here you will admire Michaelangelo’s Dome and Bernini’s colonnades. Lunch at leisure and the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Rome.
Day 04: Rome - Pompeii - Sorrento | Breakfast at the Hotel. This morning you will be privately transferred to your Hotel in Sorrento. On route stop first at Cantine del Vesuvio, for a fantastic Eno-Gastronomic experience. The Estate is the most important winemaker of Lachrima Christi, located just a few hundred meters below the peak of the Volcano Vesuvius. Here you will have a classical Italian lunch that includes bruschetta with fresh tomatoes and olive oil served with salami and cheeses. accompanied by two different red wines. After lunch, continue to Pompeii, meet your Private Guide and enjoy a Private Guided Tour of Pompeii Archeological Ruins. Pompeii was buried under lava and ash from Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD and lay forgotten for hundreds of years. After the Tour, continue to your Hotel in Sorrento. Overnight in Sorrento.
Day 05: Capri Private Guided Tour with Limoncello & Blue Grotto Tour | This morning you will be privately transferred to Sorrento Marina Piccola to meet your guide and to board a fast ferry to Capri. First, you visit Marina Grande with his classy restaurants and sidewalk cafés. Then to Anacapri, 1,800 feet above sea level, where you will visit Villa San Michele and the Axel Munthe Gardens. Continue to the main town of Capri, where you can visit La Piazzetta, the Gardens of Augustus, Faraglioni, and the distinctive rocks. After lunch in a characteristic Caprese restaurant, you will visit, weather permitting, the incredible Blue Grotto. Capri is a very exclusive travel destination, it is here to spot the occasional unassuming celebrity (Paparazzi as well, unfortunately). Late afternoon you will re-board the fast ferry to Sorrento Port to be transferred to your Hotel. Overnight in Sorrento.
Day 06: Amalfi Coast Private Guided Tour | Today travel along one of the most intriguing coastlines in the world, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello... The small houses along the mountain on top of each other, the breathtaking cliffs, the lemon and olive trees, the small bays, the Saracen watchtowers, the narrow tiny street make this place unique in the world. First, you will visit Positano, an exclusive little village famous for its latest fashion trends and exclusive nightlife. Continue on to Amalfi, once the powerful Maritime Republic and today a refined travel resort. Enjoy lunch in a characteristic Amalfi Coast fish restaurant. Then let us take you up to Villa Rufolo in Ravello, with a spectacular view over the entire Amalfi Coast. Return to Sorrento for an overnight.
Day 07: Sorrento at Leisure. For 2000 years visitors from all over the world have been attracted to Sorrento by breathtaking sunsets, fragrances of orange and lemon gardens. Overnight in Sorrento.
Day 08: Sorrento → Florence | Breakfast at the Hotel. This morning you will meet your driver at the hotel lobby. Enjoy a Private transfer to Naples Train Station. Here you will meet your Assistant who will facilitate your boarding a Fast Train in Business Class to Florence. Upon your arrival at Florence Train Station, you will be met by your Assistant who will facilitate your Private Transfer to your Florence Hotel. Day 09: Florence and Pisa Private Guided Tour | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your guide at the hotel lobby. This morning you will enjoy a 3 Hours Florence Private Walking Guided Tour. As you walk through the streets and piazzas of Florence, you'll discuss the ideas of the Renaissance, and the lives of many famous artists In between the famous landmarks, you'll take enchanting backstreets and alleys. After enjoying a walk through the historical center follow your guide along the windy pathways to a stop in Piazza del Duomo. Then continue to the Accademia Gallery, home to Florence's most treasured work of art - "Michelangelo's David". In-between the famous landmarks, we'll take enchanting backstreets and alleys paved with the original stones from ancient times. You will visit Piazza della Signoria and the famous Ponte Vecchio. After lunch in a characteristic local restaurant, travel to Pisa. Visit the extraordinary Piazza Dei Miracoli, dominated by the world-famous Leaning Bell Tower. Partly paved and partly grassed, it's dominated by four great edifices: the Duomo (Cathedral), the famous leaning tower, the Baptistry, and the monumental Cemetery. Day 10: San Gimignano and Siena Private Guided Tour | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your driver and guide in the lobby. You will first admire all the landmarks of the famous Piazza San Marco, St. Mark’s Square, the former political center of the Venetian Republic. You will start your Private Murano & Burano Boat Tour itinerary visiting the island of Burano, one of the most picturesque of the Venetian lagoon. Burano's brightly colored houses line its boat-filled canals. After a pleasant stroll around the Island of Burano, you will make your way to Murano which is the most famous of the Venetian Islands, thanks to the world-known "Murano Glass". You'll visit a selected glass-factory. You'll see a demonstration of glassblowing as well as visit the factory's showroom full of beautiful glassware.
