It all starts in the tiny villages of Montalcino and Pienza, known for the Brunello wine which you are about to taste along with a fine dining experience in the heart of the Orcia Valley. The historical center is dominated by the mighty and imposing fortress built in 1361. Another landmark of Montalcino is the tall and slender clock tower that graces the Palazzo dei Priori, the city's town hall, while below lays the main square known as Piazza del Popolo with its characteristic Gothic loggia. You will tour Tuscany’s jewel, Pienza, a complete Renaissance creation as many other in Italy. Pope Pius II conceived Pienza, his birthplace, as a Utopian “new town.”
The tour then moves to Siena and the Chianti region - once again known for its collection of traditional wines and architecture that is built in gothic style. The next day is reserved for Siena admiring the Palazzo Salimbeni built in gothic style is now the headquarters of the bank Monte dei Paschi di Siena and Palazzo Tolomei one of the oldest in Siena. Florence, as the birthplace of art and architecture, offer visits to Palaces and towers that are rich in medieval stories. For a delicate end, we are taking you to Capri and the Amalfi Coast where you can dip into the blue waters and enjoy the holiday mood. This part of the tour also combines a bit of history, in the medieval towns of Pompeii and Sorrento known for their vast history, Roman buildings and medieval architecture.

Day 01: Rome Arrival | On your arrival at Rome Airport, our local representative will be waiting to welcome you to Italy. You will be transferred by private limo to your hotel in the Montalcino area. Rest of the day is for you to spend at leisure. Overnight in Montalcino.
Day 02: Montalcino and Pienza Private Guided Tour | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your Driver and Guide at the Hotel Lobby. Day 04: Montalcino → San Gimignano → Florence | After breakfast at the hotel, meet your Driver in the lobby. On route to your Hotel in Florence stop in San Gimignano to meet your Private Guide a lovely walking Tour of the town. San Gimignano is famous worldwide for its urban architecture dating from the XIII-XIV centuries. You will make your way through its tiny, unique streets where Medieval towers and Romanesque churches seem to emerge out of nowhere. Your day starts from La Spezia, where you will hop aboard a train for the short ride to the colourful village of Riomaggiore, the first of the Cinque Terre towns. No car traffic is allowed in Cinque Terre: visitors and locals alike travel by train, boat, electric bus, and on foot. The villages tumble down steep hillsides covered in grape vines and olive groves, harvested for centuries by Cinque Terre residents. Taste the harvest yourself in a local restaurant serving the region's white wines, fresh fish and signature pesto. Your guide will return you to La Spezia to meet your driver for your transfer back to your hotel in Florence for overnight.
Day 06: Florence → Naples → Sorrento | Breakfast at the Hotel. This morning you will be privately transferred to Florence train station, our representative will facilitate your boarding on a fast train in First Class for Naples. When you reach you be greeted by your assistant and driver that will transfer you to your Hotel in Sorrento. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure exploring Sorrento. Day 07: Day at Leisure or Optional Tour: Gragnano and Pompeii Private Guided Tour with Mount Vesuvius | Breakfast at the Hotel. Your driver and guide will meet you at the hotel lobby. Your first destination is Gragnano, a lovely little town of the Gulf of Naples, located right in the heart of the Monti Lattari between the Gulf of Amalfi and the Gulf of Sorrento. The town is well known all over the world for the production of the Pasta, for the tasty salami and the fantastic Provolone del Monaco. The great maccheroni are made with simple and genuine ingredients (water from the springs of Gragnano, hard wheat bran, passion, amore and fantasy). After the visit you will reach the most important winemaker of Lachrima Christi, located just few hundred meters below the peak of the Volcano Vesuvius. Here you will have a classical Italian lunch that includes bruschette with fresh tomatoes and olive oil served with salami and cheeses. Then, spaghetti will be served with little hill cherry tomatoes, accompanied by two different red wines. After lunch time you will visit Pompeii, buried under lava and ash from Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD and forgotten for hundreds of years. Enjoy a walking tour of Pompeii that will include: visits to the interiors of the homes of Pompeii's wealthier citizens, Ancient streets where locals dined, the amphitheater where we'll talk of the Gladiators and the events staged in the arena. Continue with a visit to the Ancient Forum, Pompeii's centre for religious, civil and economic life (the major public offices were located here) where we'll walk through the ancient Macellum which was a covered food market that occupied a corner of the forum. One of the most interesting aspects of Pompeii is its pictorial decoration. You will also visit the Casa Dei Vettii to see the splendid frescoes, statues and decorations from ancient times. In the late afternoon, your driver will transfer back to your Hotel. Overnight in Sorrento.
Day 08: Sorrento Peninsula Villages Private Guided Tour | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your driver and Guide at the Hotel lobby. This morning you will embark on a fantastic scenery drive through the villages and towns of the Sorrento Peninsula. You will first pass though the Colli di Fontanella to continue on to Sant'Agata dei Due Golfi, 1300 feet above sea level. Because of its panoramic vista, Sant'Agata was an end-of-the-line pilgrimage site for beauty lovers through the centuries. Your panoramic tour continues to Nerano Village and Marina del Cantone. Stop for lunch at Terranova Farm, a farmhouse holiday spot in Sorrento Hills. The farm occupies six acres of land, distributed amongst a staircase of terraces which all descend harmoniously towards the sea. Facing you will be the enchanting Li Galli and Vetara Islands where legend has it that Ulysses met beautiful mermaid creatures. Day 09: Sorrento → Positano Private Guided Tour | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your driver and Guide at the lobby and transfer to your Hotel in Positano. Dominated by the majestic Cathedral dedicated to Sant'Andrea (St. Andrew), Amalfi proffers innumerable testimonies of its glorious past as a Maritime Republic. Continue to Ravello where you will enjoy lunch in a characteristic Amalfi Coast restaurant with spectacular view over the entire Amalfi Coast. Ravello, an elegant and refined village, dipped in green and characterized by luxurious villas. The heart of Ravello is represented by Piazza Vescovado, framed by the architecture of Palazzo Rufolo and the Cathedral. In the afternoon on route back to Positano stop at Marisa Cuomo Winery in Furore for a visit and a Wine Tasting Tour. The property is situated on the steep slopes that stretch out in the sun and rocks and plunge into the crystal clear water of the Amalfi Coast. Among enchanting bays and coves, the vineyards of Cantine Marisa Cuomo dominate the “Fiordo di Furore”. Visit the estate’s cellars and vineyards, sample the unique flavor of its extreme wines and taste the gastronomic specialties of Furore. In Late afternoon return to Positano for overnight.
Day 11: Capri Private Guided Tour with Limoncello & Blue Grotto Tour | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your driver and Guide at the Hotel lobby. Together you will Fast-Ferry across the Bay to reach Capri Island for a Private Guided Tour. From the port of Capri, travel by private minivan to arrive at the town of Anacapri, which is a delight to explore. Here you will visit Villa San Michele and the Axel Munthe Gardens. Continue to a spot for a superb view of the famous Faraglioni, two large free standing cliffs straight up out of the water and this side of the island. After returning to the town of Capri for lunch, spend the afternoon exploring this enchanting part of the island.
