Brunico is a beautiful town located in South Tyrol in Northern Italy, and it is one of the most significant villages in the Puster Valley. The inhabitants speak English, German, and Italian. The town has a long and rich history, named after Bruno Von Kirchberg, a Brixen Prince-bishop who founded it in 1256. At first, it was under the Catholic Church. Then at one point, it came under the authority of the Italian government.

Korer is one of the longest night skiing pistes in the area, approximately 1.7 kilometers long. It is available on Saturdays for three hours. Terenten has a piste of about 1.3 kilometers and allows for night skiing on Wednesdays and Fridays. Ciancross is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays.


Apres-ski is an event held in the evening, usually after a day full of activities. These events are epic in Brunico. They accommodate the taste of every individual. It has a long history that makes it a destination for culture and history enthusiasts. The Castle was built in 1271, and it was referred to as the Castrum Bruneck. Years later, it underwent a renovation series, with the latest one being in the 17th century under Bishop Wilhelm Von Welsperg. In addition to its unique and appealing nature, Bruneck Castle houses the Messner mountain museum dedicated to all-mountain people worldwide. A famous mountaineer Reinhold Messner opened the Museum in 2011. The Castle is open for all tourists throughout the week.
