Cervinia Ski Packages

Winter is a time that is characterized by being cold and lots of Snow. It’s the time of the year when the days are shorter, and the nights are very long, there is generally low inactivity at this time. Everything is dull.  But this depends on what you decide to do.  Some activities have been designed to make the most of the winter.

An example is skiing, which is a famous sports event.  You can go to one of the destinations in Europe where skiers meet during the winter. An example of such a place is Cervinia.  Plan your winter holiday to this picturesque town in Italy.

Overview of Cervinia

Cervinia is a village located in Northern Italy in the Aosta valley. There is not much that is known about the town before the 1850s. What is known is that shepherds occupied the village. However, with the rise of alpinism, many mountain climbers saw that the regions would provide them with the challenge that they needed. Therefore plans were underway to construct a ski resort. The first tangible step towards converting it to a ski resort commenced in 1934 when the Matterhorn society who were interested in making the Cervinia a tourist attraction, attempted to turn it into a contemporary city.

Skiing in Cervinia

Winter tourism is a significant economic activity here. The snowy conditions are generally excellent. Perhaps it’s because of its geographical location. Cervinia lies at the height of 2050 meters above sea level and the Matterhorn Mountain base. Cervinia has over 50 runs, which have a combined skiing run of 200 kilometers, the longest run is 24 kilometers. When the place is bustling with skiers, it can host around 40881 skiers at a go.

The place also welcomes all sorts of Skiers. A beginner, as well as an intermediate or an expert skier, all, can have a moment that they truly treasure. In addition to easy runs, a ski school is found at Plan Maison, accessible via a gondola and a cable car.  Under the tutelage of the fun and cheerful locals, a beginner is likely to progress at a fast pace. Sooner rather than later, they could find themselves looking for the black runs.  For intermediates, there are areas marked red for in is the Red &, which is 8Km long. Others are the Ventana red run and the Plan Tourette.

When it comes to the options of an expert skier, there are a few black runs and moguls. However, they can use the off-piste. Italy Luxury Tours will provide you with a guide who will help you with the terrain and to ensure your safety. The Theodul Glacier is one of the off-piste to access; it has the best Snow, and the run can extend up to 3 kilometers. The unique connection of cable cars accesses Theodul Glacier.

Snow in the area is one of the best and extends for quite a long time throughout the year.  It stretches from October to May. Also, the place is open for skiing from June to October, a reasonably long period of around nine months to enjoy skiing.

  • Thank you for coordinating such a wonderful trip in Italy. Terence and I learned many things about Italy. The weather was great and we had so much fun. All hotels, staff and guides were superb! We especially appreciated our driver who served us from Venice through our time in Florence, I believe his name was Lorenzo. Again, thank “you” for doing such a great job in planning our vacation.

  • Hope, you are doing well. My wife and I had a great trip to Italy. The place, the people, and the food and wine were out of this world. Warm and kind people including hotel staff, tour guides and drivers went beyond their ways to help us and make this visit very special for us. It was very hard to leave Italy. You, your staff and company did an extraordinary job. You over delivered. Bravo!

  • We have just returned from our trip to Italy since we took a cruise after the program you and I put together. I just wanted to let you know that everything you planned worked out perfectly. Both hotels were excellent and the rooms were fine. All the drivers were on time and got us to our destinations promptly. We were especially glad to have someone meet us at the train station with the tickets in hand and directions to our car in Milan. The best part of the trip was the all day private boat trip in Bellagio with the great restaurant on the private island. So thanks for your help and hopefully we can do it again.
