The first stop is Rome, the Ferrari store, lunch at leisure and touristic activities, followed by the second day and the exclusive tour with various Ferrari models including the iconic 458 Spider, the classy 458 Italia and the vintage Ferrari California.
You now have the opportunity to experience the best paddle-gear shifting in Italy through the roads of Civitavecchia, Viterbo, Bolsena, Pienza, San Casciano dei Bagni, Siena, Florence, Bologna and finally the home of Ferrari - the Maranello track in Milan.
Day 01: Arrive in Rome Ferrari sport adventure tours begin when your plane lands on the ground in Rome, Italy. Once you disembark, proceed through the passport control area and collect your luggage from the customs area. After you’re all settled, meet your driver just outside for a private transfer to your hotel in central Rome. You’ll have the rest of the day at your leisure to explore the Eternal City and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 02: Rome The day’s tours start off with breakfast at the hotel. After you meet up with your driver, you’ll enjoy private tours of the landmarks of ancient Rome that endure to this day in all their glory. Your adventure will include stops at the ancient Circus Maximus, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, among others. Lunch will be enjoyed at your leisure. In the afternoon, you’ll meet up with a guide for a visit to the Ferrari store to help you get in the spirit for the sport adventure that will begin tomorrow. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure with an overnight stay in Rome as you dream about hitting the road in a Ferrari.
Day 03: Civitavecchia, Viterbol, Bolsena, Pienza, San Casiano dei Bagni Your luxury tour begins in earnest this day with breakfast at the hotel followed by a private transfer by a Mercedes S-Class from your hotel to the famed Riva di Traiano in Civitavecchia. This tourist harbor stop will include aperitif in the elective Sporting Yacht Club that is followed by a Ferrari briefing. Your sport Ferrari will be beautifully displayed in front of the yachts as your private tour director introduces you to this precision machine. Your director will teach you about the controls, the differences between such models as the Ferrari 458 Spider and Ferrari California, and talk to you about the differences in engines. You’ll also learn how to handle the F1 paddle-gear shifting behind the steering wheel. While your luggage will be transported separately, you’ll take a short practice drive to make sure you have the controls down. Once you’re comfortable in the Ferrari, you’ll head out on the legendary Mille Miglia. You’ll pass such towns as Tarquinia, Viterbo and Bolsena on your sport tour as you take in the beautiful countryside. Your director’s car will lead the way with constant contact provided by a mobile radio system. A stop in Bolsena will enable you to enjoy lunch at your leisure before you head off to San Casciano dei Bagni. You’ll also stop in Pienza, which is the birthplace of Pope Pius II. This stunning Renaissance town boasts a white stone cathedral, beautiful courtyard and other sights worth exploring. After this stop, you’ll continue on to your hotel and enjoy dinner on your own with an overnight stay in San Casciano dei Bagni.
Day 04: San Casciano dei Bagni, Siena, Florence Fuel up with breakfast at your hotel before your sport tour continues by Ferrari. Your tours this day will have you traveling to Siena to take in the splendor of this unspoiled medieval city. Siena is home to the famous Palio, a horse race around the city’s Piazza del Camo. Other sites worthy of your attention include the town hall and the Torre dei Mangia, which dates to 1340. You’ll enjoy some free time to explore Siena and have lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, you’ll continue your sport tour by Ferrari with Florence set as the next destination. Other milestones on the Mille Miglia you’ll pass will include Monteriggioni, Poggibonsi, San Casciano Val di Pesa, the Chianti region’s famous vineyards and, of course, Florence. Once you arrive in Florence, you’ll check into your hotel and enjoy an evening and dinner at your leisure to begin getting a feel for this culturally significant city.
Day 05: Florence (Futa and Raticosa), Bologna Start off with breakfast at your hotel before your private guide meets up with you in the lobby for a luxury walking tour of the city. The rich beauty and cultural significance of Florence will come to life as you take in the sights that make it clear this city was indeed the center of the Italian Renaissance. The day’s tours include stops at such landmarks as the Baptistry, Duomo, the Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio and the Accademia Gallery (with entry fee included). After the three-hour excursion, you’ll return to the hotel before enjoying lunch on your own. Following lunch, the adventure begins anew behind the wheel of the Ferrari with a course set for Bologna. You’ll travel a mix of country roads and highways with stops in the Mugello area included along the way. Aside from stunning natural landscapes and quaint medieval villages, travelers will take in such sights as the Passo della Futa. A stop for coffee in Passo della Raticosa is built into the day’s trek before the journey continues on to Bologna. After checking in at the hotel in Bologna, you’ll enjoy dinner in this famous city before turning in for the night.
Day 06: Bologna, Maranello, Milan Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before climbing into the Ferrari for a trip to Maranello. On the way, you’ll stop at Villa San Donnino, a traditional balsamic vinegar producer. After finding out how this culinary delight is created, you’ll get to take part in a balsamic vinegar tasting before hitting the road again with Maranello as the next stop. The adventure includes visits to the Ferrari Gallery and the famous Ferrari store. You’ll also have the chance to visit the whole Ferrari complex in Maranello while taking a sightseeing tour by car. Fuel up for the next leg of the journey with lunch in Maranello before departing by Ferrari for Milan. The trip will include highway travel. After checking in at the hotel in Milan, you’ll enjoy dinner in this city that’s synonymous with fashion.
Day 07: Milan Fashion and Shopping Tours This day’s tours start off with breakfast at the hotel followed by an excursion with a personal shopping assistant. The journey will include shops along such famous commercial streets as Via Sant’Andrea, Vio Montenapoleone and Via Borgospesso, among other. The trip will also include stops at vintage shops and places where the finest made handbags in the world can be examined up close. After a lunch in a traditional Milanese restaurant, you’ll embark on a private guided tour of Milan’s most famous landmarks. Stops include the Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and Storzesco.
