Cruise Beyond The Amalfi Coast | 10 Nights/11 Days
Day 01: Arrive in Naples | Welcome to Italy! On your arrival at Naples Airport, after you clear Immigration, you will pick up your luggage from the appropriate carousel and then proceed to Customs. Just outside the Exit of the protected area meet your English-Speaking Assistant. Porterage arrangements have been made for 2 pieces of luggage per passenger. You will be transferred to your hotel in Sorrento. The balance of this first day is at leisure. For international arrivals, we suggest an early dinner and a good night sleep. Overnight in Sorrento.
Day 02: Pompei Private Guided Tour | Breakfast at the Hotel. This morning you will be privately transferred to Pompeii to meet your guide: enjoy a Private Guided Tour of Pompeii Archeological Ruins. Pompeii was buried under lava and ash from Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD and lay forgotten for hundreds of years. After the Tour, continue to your Hotel in Sorrento. Overnight in Sorrento.
Day 03: Sorrento Villages Tour and Terranova Farm Private Guided Tour | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your Driver and Guide at the Hotel Lobby. Your private tour today will start with a visit to an extra virgin olive oil farm. Enjoy a demonstration on the production of Olive Oil from the olive on the tree to the bottle. Followed by a delicious tasting of this fine Extra Virgin Olive Oil on freshly baked bread. On your way to the next stop, the mozzarella and cheesemakers, we stop for a fantastic photo opportunity over the two bays’, the bay of Salerno and the Bay of Naples, for a bird’s eye view of the famous Amalfi Drive. You will be welcomed with open arms by the family at the cheese farm, who have over 50 years of experience. After touring the farm, watch the making of mozzarella, participate in a wonderful explanation of the entire process up to the final product, which you will taste with lunch. Sit back and relax with an antipasto of local ‘in season’ vegetables, salami then followed by freshly made pasta. Tasting the fresh mozzarella you have just witnessed being made. Lunch is served with local wine and soft drinks, followed by Limoncello. Then continue to Sorrento to meet your Private Guide. Visit Sorrento Historic Centre where you will have a Wine tasting at a local Enoteca, with full demonstration, visit to the cellar and wine tasting. The tour ends in the heart of Sorrento for Italy’s famous GELATO. Return to the Hotel. Overnight in Sorrento.
Day 04: Sorrento & Amalfi Coast Private Boat Guided Tour: Dropoff Amalfi Hotel | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your driver and guide at the hotel lobby and transfer to Sorrento pier where you will meet your English-Speaking Captain. Embark on a Private Boat Tour. On route to your Hotel in Amalfi cruise the Sorrento and Amalfi Coast. As you depart from Sorrento Pier and pass through Marina Grande fishing village, you will discover the hidden treasure of Regina Giovanna Bath, once a Roman Villa. Continue to the beach of Cala di Puolo, a small fishing village; Massa Lubrense and Marina dell Lobra; Marciano; Mitigliano Bay, the Bay of Ieranto. You will pass by the legendary Li Galli Islands, a small island archipelago is also known as the Sirenusas. Stop for lunch in Positano in a characteristic local restaurant and then enjoy some time at leisure walking to the lower part of the town. Reembark your Private Boat and continue your Cruise by passing through Praiano and Conca dei Marini. Late afternoon, reach Amalfi Pier where you will meet your driver. Day 05: Amalfi Coast Private Guided Tour | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your driver and guide at the hotel lobby. This morning you will first visit the beautiful town of Amalfi. The town gives its name to the whole coast as well as one of the most famous tourist destinations in the world for its history, monuments and natural setting that allowed to be declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After some time at leisure, continue to the top of the mountains to Ravello, situated at 1100 feet above the sea level, the views of the coast below are for sure the most breath-taking scenery. Lunch in a Characteristic Local Restaurant, The town of Ravello is for sure the best place where to leave the crowds and where to enjoy the quiet of a village. Here you will visit Villa Rufolo. The villa was built in the 13th century for the wealthy Rufolo dynasty and was home to several Popes as well as King Robert of Anjou. Late afternoon return to your Hotel. Overnight in Amalfi.
Day 06: Amalfi → Capri Private Boat Tour → Capri Hotel | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your driver at the hotel lobby and transfer to the Amalfi pier where you will embark on a Private Boat Tour. Leave the Amalfi Coast for Capri Island. You will reach Capri’s mega-yacht enclave of Marina Piccola, spear through Capri’s iconic Faraglioni Rocks, and visit all Capri’s grottoes. The Blue Grotto or Grotta Azzurra: Inside, pass from complete darkness into a sparkling cavern, lit by azure blue light, while the sounds of the ancient Neapolitan song echo along the stone walls. Lunch in a characteristic local restaurant. With Capri’s Monte Solaro soaring above, the captain can drop anchor at many of these crystal-clear enclaves for swimming or relaxing onboard. Visit The White Grotto and The Green Grotto: Your Capri Private Boat Tour ends at Capri’s Marina Grande. Capri’s main port is filled with mega-yachts from all over the globe juxtaposed with typical Capri wooden fishing boats for a gorgeous Italian maritime scene. Day 07: Capri Private Guided Tour | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your guide in the lobby. This morning you will visit Anacapri, a concentration of Mediterranean colors, scents, and sounds. A walk around the center of Anacapri will take you past tiny Neapolitan tailor shops, artisan shoemakers, ladies sitting in the shade outside working on their knitting. Here you will visit Villa San Michele and the Axel Munthe Gardens and Mount Solaro, the ride to the summit takes only 13 minutes and each chair holds just a single rider. After returning to the town of Capri for lunch in a characteristic local restaurant, spend the afternoon exploring this enchanting part of the Island; the famous Piazzetta, with its prestigious cafes’ and surrounded by whitewashed buildings; Augustus Gardens with its enchanting views, the narrow winding streets with delightful small shops. It is from here that we will look down upon the renowned Faraglioni limestone sea stacks. These imposing rock formations are one of Capri’s best-known landmarks. Late afternoon, return to your Hotel. Day 08: Capri → Ischia & Procida Private Boat Tour → Ischia | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your driver at the hotel lobby and transfer to Capri pier where you will embark on a Private Boat Tour of Ischia and Procida. At the end of the day, you will be transferred to your Hotel in Ischia. Along the way to Procida, you will admire Nisida, the Campi Flegrei up to Capo Miseno. You will tour the Island by boat. Disembark in Procida to visit the island by land. Take a small walk through myriad streets fanning out from the main port and soak up the island’s colorful heritage. After Procida, continue to Ischia and tour of the island by boat. Lunch in a local characteristic restaurant. Ischia, an island of volcanic origin, well-known, above all, for its thermal waters and amazing beaches. Along the way, you will visit the Bay of Sorgeto with its warm waters and mud bath. You may visit Sant’Angelo’s Aphrodite Apollon Thermal Spa Park to indulge the senses with 12 therapeutic sea-water thermal hydro-pools, beauty salon, sauna, and restaurants spilling across various levels to the Ischia sea. Day 09: Ischia Island Private Guided Tour | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your driver and guide at the hotel lobby for a Private Guided Tour of Ischia Island. The most impressive historical monument in Ischia is the famous Castello Aragonese, which stands on a volcanic rock, like a small island. This rock reaches the height of 113 meters above the sea level and it has an area of approximately 56.000 square meters. The Aragonese castle was built by Geron of Syracuse and was transformed into a fortress during the Angevin domination when it was closed by massive walls. After lunch in a characteristic local restaurant, you will explore the exquisite Mortella Botanical Gardens. Created in 1958 by Lady Susan Walton, La Mortella Botanic Gardens were developed over the course of 50 years. Considered one of the most beautiful private gardens in Europe, it was built on land that was once covered in volcanic rocks. In the late afternoon, you will return to your Hotel. Day 10: Ischia – Naples | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your driver at the lobby and transfer to Naples. Overnight in Naples.
Day 11: Naples Departure | Breakfast at the Hotel. At a convenient time met your driver at the hotel lobby. Private Transfer to Ischia Pier to meet your Assistant. You will Fast-Ferry across the Bay to reach Naples Port. Once in Naples meet your Driver to be privately transferred to Naples Airport. Arrivederci! Ciao! Buon Viaggio!
