Day 01: Bologna Arrival and Private Transfer to Pesaro | Welcome to Italy! Upon arrival at Bologna airport you will be greeted by our Representative who will welcome you and escort out of the Terminal: your private driver will transfer you to your Hotel in Pesaro. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Pesaro.

Day 02: San Leo – Macerata Feltria – Sassocorvaro | You will begin your day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before meeting your private driver in the hotel lobby. Your first stop is San Leo where you can visit the Cathedral, Fortress and the Pieve, monuments that feature the stunning Romanesque in Romagna style. Lunch is served in an authentic restaurant that showcases the seasonal produce of the region. In the afternoon you will visit Macerata Feltria and Sassocorvaro. A guided tour will allow you to explore the Rocca by Francesco di Giorgio Martini as well as the wooden theater. Upon return to your hotel, you can relax and enjoy your free time before overnighting in Pesaro.

Day 03: Pesaro – Urbino – Pesaro | After breakfast at the hotel, your driver and guide will escort you to the World Heritage city of Urbino. This Renaissance city has many sights to see, including the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche, the Palazzo Ducale, the Duomo, the Oratorio San Giovanni Battista, Raphael’s House and San Bernadino. Lunch will be enjoyed in a traditional local restaurant before returning to Pesaro in the afternoon. A guided tour will take you to the Rocca Costanza, Civic Museum and Palazzo Ducale. Following the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Pesaro.

Day 04: Pesaro – Jesi | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your driver at the lobby and transfer to your Hotel in Jesi. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Jesi.

Day 05: Ascoli Piceno – San Benedetto del Tronto – Fermo | After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will meet your guide and driver in the hotel lobby. In the morning, you will experience a guided tour of the old town including Piazza Arringo, the Cathedral and the Crypt of S. Emidio, Palazzo dell’Arengo including the Mercatori Hall and Museum of Quintana. Also, you will enjoy the Baptistery and Piazza del Popolo that features the historic Caffè Melitti before passing through the Quartiere Longobardo to reach the Roman Bridge. Taking some time to have lunch at a local restaurant, you will then depart for San Bendetto del Tronto which allows you time to stroll along the water. In Fermo, your guided tour will take you past the old town including Piazza delgi Studi where you can visit the art gallery, Historical Theatre and Roman cisterns. Your final stop will be at the Piazzale del Girifalco before returning to your hotel in Jesi.

Day 06: Recanati – Macerata | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your driver and guide at the lobby. This morning enjoy a Private Guided Tour of Recanati old town. Here, you will see where Leopardi lived. Your next stop is Macerata where you will enjoy lunch and a tour of Palazzo Buonaccorsi as well as the Museum of Antique Carriages. You will also explore the Sferisterio Arena, and the Civic Tower in all their glory. The afternoon will take you to the Romanesque Abbey of San Claudio as well as the Santa Maria a Piè di Chienti. Finally, you will see the Basilica in Loreto which is dedicated to the Black Virgin Mary before returning to your hotel to stay the night in Jesi.

Day 07: Jesi – Assisi | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your driver at the lobby and transfer to your Hotel Assisi. Rest of the day at Leisure. Overnight in Assisi.

Day 08: Perugia – Assisi | Breakfast at the Hotel. Meet your driver and guide at the lobby for a morning Private Tour of Perugia, the capital city of Umbria. We will see the recently restored 13th century Fontana Maggiore, the Palazzo dei Priori which houses the National Gallery of Umbria and the Collegio del Cambio with its frescoes by Perugino and amble along Perugia’s elegant main street, Corso Vannucci. Lunch in a characteristic local restaurant. In the afternoon return to Assisi known throughout the world as the birthplace of Saint Francis. We will take a guided walking tour of the city and see the many important sights, including the spectacular Basilica of Saint Francis with its frescoes by Giotto. Late afternoon return to your Hotel. Overnight in the Umbria countryside.

Day 09: Citta di Castello – Gubbio | After breakfast at the hotel, meet your driver and guide in the lobby. Today’s journey begins at Città di Castello, one of Umbria’s most visited tourist destinations, a place where ancient and contemporary art forms live side by side in perfect harmony. The tour of the town starts with a visit to Palazzo Vitelli and Palazzo Albizzini. Continue on to enjoy a visit to the Duomo Museum, located next to the cathedral. Last, but not least, there is the Pinacoteca Comunale, which occupies a part of the prestigious Palazzo Vitelli alla Cannoniera and contains important renaissance masterpieces by Raffaello and Ghirlandaio. Lunch in a characteristic local restaurant. In the afternoon visit Gubbio, a delightful medieval town, its center brimming with edifices of great historical and architectural importance such as Palazzo dei Consoli, Palazzo Pretorio and Palazzo del Capitolo dei Canonici. Another building worthy of visit is the Palazzo Ducale, now home to an excellent history museum. Late afternoon return to your Hotel. Overnight in Assisi.

Day 10: Assisi – Florence Airport | Breakfast at the Hotel. This morning at the appropriate time enjoy a Private Transfer to Florence Airport. Arrivederci! Ciao! Buon Viaggio!
